William H. King is a writer, producer and business affairs consultant from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Will has provided business affairs consulting services on over a hundred film and television projects, and is the founder of Cliffside Films, an independent production company focusing on narrative and documentary content. Terms of Use is his feature directorial debut.
Will has always had a passion for storytelling and filmmaking from a young age. He began writing and producing his own short films at age 11. In 2013, Will received his Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies from York University. During his time at York, Will worked as a production assistant, script supervisor and produced a range of independent projects including short films and music videos. In 2016, Will completed a postgraduate certificate in Film and Television business at Centennial College, and shortly afterwards moved into the role of business affairs manager for an independent content distribution company in Toronto. Since 2017, Will has independently provided business affairs and tax credit consulting services on over 100 productions for dozens of Canadian production companies, including feature films and series which were released on Netflix, CBC and theatrically.
